DefeatismـــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــAl-Inhizāmiyyahـــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــ
الِٱنْهِزَامِيَّةُ: هِيَ مَوْقِفٌ أَوْ
سِمَةٌ تَدُلُّ عَلَى الْيَأْسِ وَالْإِحْبَاطِ وَعَدَمِ الْقُدْرَةِ عَلَى
مُوَاجَهَةِ التَّحَدِّيَاتِ وَالصُّعُوبَاتِ. وَتُسْتَخْدَمُ هَذِهِ الْكَلِمَةُ
لِوَصْفِ مَنْ يَسْتَسْلِمُ بِسُهُولَةٍ وَيَفْقِدُ الْأَمَلَ فِي التَّغْيِيرِ
أَوِ التَّحْسِينِ. مَثَلًا: لَا تَسْتَسْلِمْ لِلْيَأْسِ وَالِٱنْهِزَامِيَّةِ،
فَمَا زَالَ هُنَاكَ أَمَلٌ، وَكَذَلِكَ: تُعَدُّ الِٱنْهِزَامِيَّةُ عَقَبَةً
أَمَامَ تَحْقِيقِ الْأَهْدَافِ وَالطُّمُوحَاتِ، وَأَيْضًا: يَجِبُ عَلَيْنَا
أَنْ نُقَاوِمَ الِٱنْهِزَامِيَّةَ وَنَتَحَلَّى بِالْإِيمَانِ بِالْقُدْرَةِ
عَلَى التَّغْيِيرِ.

Defeatism is an attitude
or trait that reflects despair, frustration, and a lack of ability to face
challenges and difficulties. This term is used to describe a person who gives
up easily and loses hope in change or improvement. For example: "Don’t
give in to despair and defeatism—there is still hope," and also:
"Defeatism is considered an obstacle to achieving goals and
ambitions." Additionally, "We must resist defeatism and be filled
with faith in our ability to bring about change."
